Ant Rant - Lead Vocals & Rhythm Guitar

Ant is the inspiration and founder of Glambuster. Having performed in several highly successful party/cabaret bands Ant’s love of glamrock finally got the better of him in 2008. He spent almost a year searching for and auditioning the right team to put together the ultimate Glamrock band. Finally in 2009 rehearsals began as the band worked on glam-era hits from 1971, to 1975.

Ant’s also passionate about guitar building especially telecasters. Having designed and built replicas of the famous Status Quo duo, Rossi and Parfit. Ant is always looking for new and interesting ways to squeeze 70’s vibe from his instruments.

Rob

Valentino - Drums & Backing Vocals

Valentino joined Glambuster following a successful touring and recording career with the V-Rats, a highly acclaimed classic rock originals band. His call to Glamrock was an easy one to answer as he’s been a long time admirer of glam-era music. The recent emergence of a new wave of modern Glam artists like Lady GaGa reaffirmed his faith that today’s audiences are still captivated by the rhythms and power beats of Glam’s addictive style.

Valentino’s second love of “hot rod” drag racing is never far from his thoughts. And he’s in good company with the likes of Jeff Beck and Jason Bonham being fellow speed demons and regular visitors to Santa Pod raceway.

Pete Sweet - Bass Guitar & Vocals

No your eyes don’t deceive you... Pete bears more than a passing likeness to the unmistakable Dave Hill from Slade. After graduating as a fighter pilot from the Top Gun academy Pete turned his back on a stunning career in aviation to tour with the US rock band “afterburner”. But despite living in denial for many years, Pete finally came out of the glam closet in 2010 and joined Glambuster for an undisclosed fee.

Life’s been good to Pete. Acquiring a string of ultra rare vintage Fender Bass guitars, some of which have been sold a Sotherby’s for 6 digit sums.
Ladies...he’s all yours.

Tex

Tex Rex - Lead Guitar & Vocals

Tex was smitten by Glamrock even before he got the call from Ant. His musical history has covered several decades of guitar styles, the most recent being 2 years playing for highly rated 50’s Rock & Roll band, T. Ford & the SunKings. But, his passion for valve amps and 70’s rock signaled the inevitable upgrade...to Glam!

No real surprise then to find 70’s vintage valve amps are Tex’s favorite toys. And why not when you realize that just about every famous Glam guitarist used them to create some of the most iconic signature guitar sounds ever recorded.
